AID$ Quilt

about

This controversial song is a non-linear sequel to MC Tourettes' pre-Tinnitis era cassette single, "Russian Roulette" (1994), which featured vocals from Timmy Friday of Black Friday, and DJ Chris Topper.

Written in 2002, recorded in 2004, AID$ Quilt is the fifth of nine Tinnitis songs recorded on 1/2 inch analog reel-to-reel tape at Stealth studios in 2004. It is a reaction to AIDS organizations that were more concerned about capitalizing on the disease than putting an end to it.

lyrics

As I sit on the toilet just-a taking a doo-doo
I realize I'm all fresh out of toilet tissue

CHORUS:
Hand me the AIDS Quilt
I gotta wipe myself
Hand me the AIDS Quilt
I gotta wipe myself
Hand me the AIDS Quilt
I gotta wipe myself
Hand me the AIDS Quilt
Right now

They say you can't get AIDS from a toilet seat
NO
Nor can you from the bit of a mosquit...
O

CHORUS

We AIDS groups want from you millions in cash, please
But don't you think we'll use it to fight the disease
'Cause if we found a cure
Well, then we'd be poor
